We're looking for a detail-oriented Financial Accountant to join our Finance team in Montreal. You'll play a key role in the month-end close process across multiple international entities, supporting both day-to-day accounting operations and broader financial analysis. This is a solid opportunity to grow within a global ad-tech company and work closely with both local and international stakeholders.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Own the month-end close process, including bank reconciliations, accruals, prepaids, amortization, depreciation entries, and reconciliation of fixed asset and intercompany accounts
  • Perform monthly variance analysis and investigate significant fluctuations in financial results
  • Support the year-end audit process by responding to auditor requests and providing supporting documentation
  • Prepare and file monthly VAT/GST returns and ensure indirect tax compliance across multiple foreign jurisdictions
  • Coordinate with external accounting firms and local service providers for foreign subsidiaries to ensure timely statutory reporting and local compliance

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant accounting experience
  • Solid experience with financial statements and journal entries
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Fluent English, written and spoken

Nice to Have

  • CPA designation in progress or planned
  • Experience with NetSuite
  • Prior exposure to a global or multinational company environment

Vos responsabilites
  • Etre en charge du processus de cloture mensuelle, incluant les conciliations bancaires, les regularisations (frais payees d'avance et frais courus), les ecritures d'amortissement, ainsi que la conciliation des comptes d'immobilisations et des comptes intersocietes.
  • Effectuer l'analyse mensuelle des ecarts et enqueter sur les fluctuations importantes des resultats financiers.
  • Soutenir le processus d'audit de fin d'annee en repondant aux demandes des verificateurs et en fournissant les documents justificatifs necessaires.
  • Preparer et produire les declarations mensuelles de taxes (TPS/TVQ) et assurer la conformite en matiere de taxes indirectes dans plusieurs juridictions etrangeres.
  • Coordonner avec les cabinets comptables externes et les prestataires de services locaux pour les filiales etrangeres afin de garantir la production des rapports statutaires et la conformite locale dans les delais.
Votre profil
  • Baccalaureat en comptabilite.
  • Minimum de 3 ans d'experience pertinente en comptabilite.
  • Experience avec les etats financiers et les ecritures de journal.
  • Excellente maitrise d'Excel.
  • Maitrise de l'anglais, a l'oral comme a l'ecrit.
Atouts
  • Titre professionnel de CPA en cours d'obtention ou prevu.
  • Experience avec le systeme ERP NetSuite.
  • Experience prealable au sein d'une entreprise d'envergure internationale ou multinationale.
