• Prepare and enter data required for federal and provincial tax filings (GST/HST, QST, installments, and tax balances)

• Prepare corporate income tax returns (T2 and CO-17)

• Participate in calculating tax provisions in accordance with Canadian accounting standards

• Prepare adjustments for current and deferred tax

• Reconcile tax provisions with financial statements and perform variance analysis

• Monitor tax deadlines and follow up with Canadian tax authorities

• Prepare required annual tax slips

• Communicate with Canadian tax authorities

  Your Profile

• College diploma (DEC) or attestation (AEC) in Accounting and Management Technology, or equivalent

• Minimum of 1 year of accounting experience (including internships or firm experience)

• Good knowledge of accounting software (Caseware, Caseview, Taxprep, etc.)

• Interest in tax and willingness to learn in this field

• Strong attention to detail, rigor, autonomy, and ability to manage priorities
