  • Preparer des rapports financiers et des analyses pour des proprietes individuelles ou des portefeuilles consolides.

  • S'assurer que l'information financiere est exacte et transmise dans les delais.

  • Produire les clotures mensuelles, trimestrielles et annuelles.

  • Participer au processus budgetaire annuel et aux revisions (reforecasting).

  • Effectuer les ajustements de fin d'annee et la facturation aux locataires (13e facture).

  • Preparer les dossiers de travail pour les audits de fin d'annee.

  • Reconcilier les comptes du bilan et produire les etats financiers.

  • Effectuer les taches comptables mensuelles : ecritures, conciliations bancaires, refacturations, etc.

  • Assurer la conciliation et la remise de la TPS/TVQ.

  • Gerer les provisions pour mauvaises creances et les depots de garantie des locataires.

  • Surveiller les flux de tresorerie et anticiper les besoins futurs.

  • Collaborer etroitement avec les equipes des operations, de la location et de la construction.

  • Minimum de 5 ans d'experience en comptabilite immobiliere commerciale ou dans un domaine connexe.

  • Designation professionnelle CPA (atout important).

Colliers International is seeking a Senior Property Accountant to join its dynamic team in Montreal. Reporting to the Accounting Manager, you will ensure monthly deadlines are met and special projects are completed on time. Your expertise in property accounting and strong communication skills will be essential to your success.

  • Prepare financial reports and analyses for individual properties or consolidated portfolios.

  • Ensure financial information is accurate and delivered on time.

  • Produce monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings.

  • Participate in the annual budgeting process and reforecasting.

  • Complete yearend adjustments and tenant billing (13th invoice).

  • Prepare working papers for yearend audits.

  • Reconcile balance sheet accounts and produce financial statements.

  • Perform monthly accounting tasks: journal entries, bank reconciliations, chargebacks, etc..

  • Ensure GST/QST reconciliation and remittance.

  • Manage bad debt provisions and tenant security deposits.

  • Monitor cash flow and anticipate future needs.

  • Collaborate closely with operations, leasing, and construction teams.

What you bring

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial real estate property accounting or a related field.

  • Professional designation CPA (strong asset).

  • Excellent communication skills in French and English for both written and verbal.

  • Ability to work professionally under pressure.
