Job Description:

As a Temporary Talent Acquisition Recruiter at Baker Tilly, you will play an important role in helping the firm attract and select strong talent to support our continued growth. This role provides the opportunity to contribute across a variety of recruiting needs, from conducting a high volume of candidate interviews to managing full-cycle recruiting for select non-client-facing positions.

Success in this role requires strong interviewing and assessment skills, the ability to create a positive candidate experience at scale, and the flexibility to shift priorities based on the firm's evolving hiring needs.

You will have the opportunity to:

  • Support high-volume hiring initiatives by conducting a significant volume of structured candidate interviews and assessments across designated roles
  • Evaluate candidate experience, skills and qualifications against established selection criteria and provide clear, timely recommendations to recruiting and hiring partners
  • Deliver a consistent, engaging and high-quality candidate experience throughout the interview and selection process, including in high-volume hiring environments
  • Manage interview activity efficiently while maintaining thorough documentation and timely candidate disposition within the firm's applicant tracking system
  • Partner closely with recruiting team members and hiring stakeholders to understand role requirements, selection criteria, hiring priorities and candidate profiles
  • Participate in interview debriefs and share candidate insights to support timely, informed hiring decisions
  • Maintain effective and timely communication with candidates and internal stakeholders throughout the recruiting process
  • Manage full life-cycle recruiting for select non-client-facing experienced hire positions, which may include:
    • Partnering with hiring leaders and human resources to understand talent needs and develop recruiting strategies
    • Conducting targeted research and sourcing to identify qualified active and passive candidates
    • Screening, interviewing and assessing candidates and presenting qualified talent for consideration
    • Managing candidate and hiring leader communication throughout the interview and selection process
    • Maintaining accurate requisition and candidate information within the firm's applicant tracking system
    • Leading the employment offer process in partnership with human resources and key decision makers, including formulating, negotiating and extending offers
  • Develop and cultivate relationships with candidates, hiring leaders, colleagues and external recruiting sources
  • Understand talent market conditions and use those insights to support effective recruiting and candidate engagement strategies
  • Collaborate across Talent Attraction to support changing hiring priorities and contribute where recruiting needs are greatest
  • Understand, communicate and promote the firm's employee referral program
  • Continually grow and develop recruiting skills and knowledge through internal and external education, training and cross-training opportunities

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree preferred or 5 years of relevant experience in lieu of
  • 1 year of experience required. Experience in talent acquisition within a professional services firm preferred, will consider an individual with assurance, tax or consulting experience looking to make a career change
  • Experience in full life cycle recruiting focused in professional services or agency recruiting preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate, influence and impact change by leading individuals in a matrix environment
  • Ability to attract and retain talent, proven relationship-building skills, and strong leadership qualities to drive collaboration, influence, and change in a matrix environment
  • Eligibility to work in the U.S. without sponsorship required

The pay rate range for this job position are listed below. Actual compensation is influenced by a variety of relevant factors including but not limited to applicant's skills, prior experience, qualifications, degrees, professional certifications, work arrangements and geographic location. Baker Tilly offers a comprehensive compensation and benefits package to eligible employees.

The national pay rate range is $15.97 to $41
