Job description

Position Overview:

The PET Sales Account Representative is responsible for providing sales and account management services for Menehune Water Company’s PET and 3-Gallon accounts through telephone, email, and face-to-face interactions, with a focus on developing new business, managing assigned accounts, maintaining existing customer relationships, and promoting company products and brand presence within the Hawaii market.


Salary Information:

Annual exempt salary of $48,000 plus commission.


Minimum Job Requirements:

  • Valid driver’s license

  • Valid government-issued ID for I-9 employment eligibility verification

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in sales, account management, or a related field

  • Associate's or bachelor's degree in Business Management or a related field preferred

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook


Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintains open and effective communication with the PET Sales Manager and Director of Sales & Marketing

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DBIDS (Defense Biometric Identification System) credential, or eligibility for one, for accounts requiring military installation access

  • Develops and maintains productive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including managers, clerks, and customers, to support and grow sales

  • Builds and expands the domestic market by developing relationships and identifying potential clients within the Hawaii market

  • Establishes and maintains relationships with current and prospective clients and follows up on leads and referrals

  • Promotes and strengthens Menehune Water Company’s image and brand within the Hawaii market

  • Prepares sales proposals for new sales accounts, including PET, 3-gallon, and 5-gallon products

  • Sets up, breaks down, and promotes sales at community events related to PET, 3-gallon, and 5-gallon products

  • Places accurate and timely orders for each account to maximize sales revenue

  • Maintains, grows, and upgrades product shelf space at customer locations

  • Restocks products that are expired or damaged in accordance with company standards

  • Maintains accurate merchandise inventory for each client and reports all inventory counts to the PET Sales Manager

  • Introduces and promotes new products to accounts as they become available

  • Responds promptly and professionally to telephone and email inquiries while promoting company products and services

  • Processes orders, prepares correspondence, and fulfills customer needs to ensure customer satisfaction

  • Obtains appropriate customer signatures on invoices upon delivery and provides copies to customers

  • Meets assigned sales activity, service, and account management expectations as established by management

  • Performs other duties as assigned


Qualifications:

  • Ability to travel locally within the Hawaii market to service customer accounts and attend events

  • Ability to lift, carry, and move product and marketing materials as required for deliveries and event setup

  • Strong customer service orientation with the ability to represent the company professionally at all times

  • Flexibility to work extended hours, weekends, evenings, and holidays as business needs require

  • Ability to operate company vehicles and equipment safely and in compliance with company policies and applicable laws

  • Familiarity with the Hawaii market and customer base preferred
