What's in it for you:

Trane in Rocky Hill is hiring for an Associate Account Manager to join our team. In this role you will be responsible for developing long-term customer relationships and maximizing account penetration and customer retention by developing HVAC system related solutions.


What you will do:

  • Support of assigned account managers and their customers with HVAC systems & equipment product selections, application, proposals and sales development.

  • Generate equipment estimates based upon construction plans & specifications.

  • Manage sales opportunity workflow for assigned customer Accounts / Account Managers in Salesforce CRM.

  • Prepare transition documents and communicate project readiness for assignment to operations team.


What you will bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, engineering technology, business or equivalent from a four-year college or university preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Minimum one (1) year experience in Account Management, Mechanical Contracting/HVAC or Facilities Management fields preferred.

  • Candidates without a 4-year degree are encouraged to apply; we prioritize practical experience, relevant skills, and alignment with our leadership principles.

  • Working knowledge of HVAC systems preferred.

  • Must possess a valid driver's license for a minimum of 12 months, with no major or frequent traffic violations included, but not limited to: DUI, Hit & Run, License Suspension, Reckless / Carless Driving, or multiple smaller infractions or preventable collisions in the previous 3 years.
