Job description

Team & Work Environment:
The team owns customer-facing applications, including the Sparklight website, Shopping Cart, and Customer Portals (Web and Mobile App). The work is conducted within an Agile sprint framework using Azure DevOps for project and test management. The selected candidate will participate in sprint planning, daily standups, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and execute assignments from the sprint board.
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced QA Tester with strong expertise in testing native mobile applications and SOA-based web applications. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with front-end UI testing, API testing, responsive testing, accessibility testing, and database validation. This resource will primarily support the Mobile App team while also contributing to other Azure DevOps web application projects as needed. The role will function as a shared resource with an approximate 50/50 allocation between mobile and web application testing initiatives.

Required Qualifications:
  • Strong QA testing experience with excellent analytical and communication skills
  • Experience testing native mobile applications
  • Experience testing SOA-based web applications
  • Strong API testing experience
  • SQL/database validation experience
  • Experience with front-end UI testing
  • Experience with responsive testing
  • Ability to work effectively in an Agile/Scrum environment
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Hands-on test automation experience using Playwright or Selenium
  • Accessibility testing experience
  • Experience working with Azure DevOps
