About the Role
Spiegelworld is looking for a Stage Manager On-Call to join the team at the Atomic Saloon in Las Vegas. This first-class production performs five nights a week at the Grand Canal Shoppes within the Venetian resort. The On-Call ASM is a member of the stage management team, responsible for running backstage during the show, learning the call of the show, acting as the liaison between different departments on site, running rehearsals, and more. This is an on-call position. This position reports to the Production Stage Manager. This is an on-call, as -needed position and the pay is $33/hour. Atomic run Tuesday - Saturday and is dark on Sunday & Monday.
What You'll Do
  • Responsible for stage management duties for backstage running of shows as well as staying current on the call of the show.
  • Actively engage in our antiracist commitment and internal practices by participating in offered learnings, engaging in conversations around Equity, Diversity, Inclusion, and Accessibility, and helping us maintain a safe and welcoming workspace.
  • Create a work environment which promotes teamwork, performance feedback, recognition, mutual respect, and employee satisfaction.
  • The On-Call ASM will act as liaison to other departments on site, including technical production, wardrobe, house management, box office, security and food/beverage staff.
  • All duties customarily assigned to a stage manager on a first-class production during rehearsals and performances including
  • Run the backstage track;
  • Participate in maintaining company welfare, which could include assisting with company management responsibilities;
  • Supervise the safety of all Artists and technician during rehearsals and shows;
  • Participate in and rehearsing safety and evacuation scenarios for all emergency situations during rehearsals and show operations, in conjunction with site management
  • Other duties as assigned by the Production Stage Manager.

All duties are to be performed in accordance with departmental and Spiegelworld policies, practices, and procedures.
What You Bring
  • Bachelor's degree in theater or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of three (3) years in stage management of live entertainment productions, preferably theater or showroom setting.
  • Proven people management and development skills to be a productive member of the team.
  • Outgoing personality, love of entertainment and provides a first-class theatrical experience.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Effectively communicate in English, both written and verbal.
  • Must be team-oriented and self-motivated.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in an always changing, never dull, creative environment that creates memorable moments.
  • Passion for ensuring you deliver the highest standards consistently.
  • Comfortable improvising in the moment as part of the constantly changing environment.
  • Maintaining any necessary licensing and work cards required.
  • Successful background check clearance prior to hire
  • Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as scheduled/needed.
  • Must have valid work authorization for the US.

  • Work is performed in a high volume professional food service and theater environment.
  • Must be tolerant to varying conditions of noise level, temperature, illumination and air quality. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to high.
  • Able to stand and walk for up to eight (8) hours, lift and carry up to 50 pounds, crawl and kneel.
