Job description

SNC's Military Fellowship Program partners with programs such as SkillBridge and Hiring Our Heroes to provide fellowship opportunities to service members transitioning to the civilian workforce. These fellowships include up to six months of on-the-job industry training for eligible service members. During this time, participants gain valuable work experience in the civilian sector and build professional networks as they prepare for their transition to full-time civilian work.
NOTE: You must be currently serving on active duty to be eligible for this fellowship program. This program is not for veterans who have already separated from the military.
The ISR (Intelligence, Surveillance & Reconnaissance), Aviation, and Security (IAS) business area is a leader in ISR and aviation, it is a leading prime manned and unmanned aircraft systems integrator for innovative, high-performance ISR and aviation systems. Its end-to-end Command, Control, Computers, Communications and Intelligence, Surveillance & Reconnaissance (C4ISR) capabilities encompass design, integration, test, certification, ground/flight training and complete logistics support. Qualifications You Must Have:
  • Currently serving as active duty military and be eligible to participate in the DoD SkillBridge program
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field
  • Minimum 2+ years of experience in project management and/or in a related or technical field, internships not included in total years of experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software
  • Demonstrated experience in managing a project.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong analytical skills & capability to meet schedules
  • Strong leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills

Qualifications We Prefer:
  • Program Management Professional (PMP) Certification
  • Basic understanding of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), or similar tool
  • Experience with developing budgets and managing projects to those budgets.
  • Experience managing project scope and scope creep during project execution
  • Experience in resource planning and management during project execution
  • Experience with risk management planning and documentation
  • Familiarity with government contracting and regulations
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance
