The Role at a glance:

We are looking to add an experienced District Manager to join our Abigail Kirsch team in New York, NY.ย  As a district manager, you will have the opportunity to manage multiple accounts in Manhattan, Westchester and CT.ย  A Multi unit operator with a strong catering background is necessary to be successful in this role.ย  Our ideal candidate has experience in the execution of both off premise and on premise luxury catering and events. Must have previous exposure to overseeing culinary, warehouse depatrtments and large diverse teams in a high end hospitality setting.ย ย 

Must reside within communting distance to NYC.

What you'll be doing:
  • Managing accounts with a focus on high end cateringย 
  • Managing planning, budget analysis, and reporting for the district.ย 
  • Ensuring compliance with policies, procedures, and guidelines to promote their consistent application.ย 
  • Providing guidance and leadership to food service directors, area managers, and other district associates.ย 
  • Providing overall planning and direction within your district to achieve operational and financial goals.ย 
  • Attending district meetings.
What we're looking for:

Must-haves:ย 

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree or equivalent experience.ย 
  • At least five years of management experience.ย 
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.ย 
  • Financial and business acumen.ย 
  • Excellent computer skills and proficiency at learning software.ย 
  • Intermediate skill with and knowledge of Microsoft Excel.ย 
  • Food safety certification through ServSafe and local health authorities.ย 


Nice-to-haves:ย 

  • Experience in (Segment) foodservice.ย 
  • Contract management experience.ย 
  • At least two years of experience working with multiple units and multiple clients in a high-volume setting.

About $150,000 plus bonus
