Position Summary:

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repairing, and installing building and production equipment to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operations. This role also manages maintenance inventory, monitors equipment performance, and maintains accurate maintenance records while supporting continuous operational improvements.


Key Responsibilities:Preventive Maintenance
  • Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on building and mechanical equipment
  • Inspect belts, bearings, seals, filters, fluid levels, and other equipment components
  • Repair or replace worn or damaged parts to maintain equipment reliability
  • Complete daily, weekly, and monthly preventive maintenance checklists
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records, reports, and service documentation
  • Prepare maintenance reports by analyzing equipment performance and maintenance trends
Equipment Installation & Operation
  • Select the appropriate tools and equipment required for maintenance tasks
  • Install machinery, equipment, wiring, and other systems according to specifications
  • Operate and control equipment safely and efficiently
  • Monitor gauges, meters, and system indicators to ensure proper equipment operation
Troubleshooting & Repairs
  • Diagnose equipment malfunctions and determine root causes of failures
  • Repair mechanical systems and equipment using appropriate tools and techniques
  • Troubleshoot operational issues and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime
  • Recommend equipment modifications or improvements to enhance performance and reliability
Inventory & Parts Management

Safety & Compliance
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

Job Requirements:
  • Previous experience as a Maintenance Technician or Maintenance Mechanic in a manufacturing or industrial environment preferred
  • Strong knowledge of preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and equipment repair
  • Experience installing and maintaining mechanical and electrical equipment
  • Ability to read technical manuals, blueprints, and maintenance documentation
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
