Job Description

The Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for repairing and maintaining all assets within the production facility. In this role, the Maintenance Mechanic must identify, troubleshoot and repair problems that occur in production equipment and processes.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot equipment problems and perform immediate repairs
  • Schedule and conduct preventive maintenance
  • Generate and complete work orders as assigned
  • Overhaul and install new equipment
  • Rebuild and fabricate parts
  • Manage parts inventory to ensure adequate inventory
  • Perform equipment change-overs and production line set-ups
  • Maintain clean and safe work area at all times
  • Protect the integrity and quality of product at all times
Job Requirements
  • High school diploma, GED or equivalent required
  • Technical degree in Industrial Maintenance or Engineering preferred
  • 1-3 years of Industrial Maintenance experience required
  • Knowledge of Programmable Logic Controls (PLCs) preferred
  • Demonstrated mechanical, technical and electrical aptitude
  • Strong analytical, organizational and problem solving skills
  • Basic proficiency with computer applications
  • Must be able to work nights, weekends or other irregular hours as required by business needs
