JOB DESCRIPTION
  • Project Initiatives -Generative AI usecases roadmap & VPP DERMS and System of Record Buildout.
  • Anticipates internal and orexternal business challenges, vendor and/or regulatory issues; recommendsprocess, product, or service improvements.
  • Solves unique and complexproblems that have a broad impact on the business.
  • Takes full responsibility forthe definition, documentation, and successful completion of complexprojects (typically with significant business, political or high-profileimpact and high-risk dependencies). Selects methods and tools, usingiterative techniques where appropriate, ensuring that effective projectcontrol, change control, risk management and testing processes aremaintained. Monitors and controls resources, revenue and capital costsagainst the project budget and manages expectations of all projectstakeholders.
  • Defines the approach/policyand sets standards for the support provided for managing and monitoringportfolios, programs, and projects. This can also include thegovernance/management of resources, directing and leading theimplementation and ongoing operation of an effective service organization,ensuring delivery of effective services/resources in line with current andplanned demand and reviewing the effective provision.
  • Sets direction and leads inthe introduction and use of techniques, methodologies, and tools to matchoverall business requirements (both current and future), ensuringconsistency across all user groups
  • Develops financial plans andforecasts. Monitors and manages IT expenditure, ensuring that all ITfinancial targets are met, and examining any areas where budgets andexpenditure exceed their agreed tolerances. Analyzes actual expenditure,explains variances, and advises on options in use of available budget.
  • Leads the definition of aportfolio of programs, projects and/or ongoing service provision. Engagesand influences senior managers to ensure the portfolio will deliver theagreed business objectives. Plans, schedules, monitors, and reports onactivities related to the portfolio to ensure that each part of theportfolio contributes to the overall achievement of the portfolio.Collects, summarizes, and reports on portfolio KPIs often through thedeployment of business management processes and systems. Identifies issueswith portfolio structure, cost, risk, interdependencies, impact on currentbusiness activities and the strategic benefits to be realized.
  • Notifiesprojects/programs/change initiatives of issues and recommends and monitorscorrective action. Reports on portfolio status as appropriate.

Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Utilities experience notrequired but nice to have
  • PMP Certification nice tohave but not required
  • Min 5-7 years of experiencerequired.
  • Experience working with Cloudplatform (AWS, Snowflake)
  • Should be able to work in afast paced set up and navigate ambiguity if required.
