The Technical Operator is a hands-on, entry-level role responsible for operating and supporting automated production equipment in a high-volume manufacturing environment. This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy working with their hands, solving problems, and learning how machines work.

You’ll gain real-world experience troubleshooting equipment, improving processes, and building technical skills that can lead to long-term career growth in advanced manufacturing, automation, or engineering support.


Job Responsibilities

  • Operate and monitor automated machines to meet safety, quality, and production goals
  • Respond to machine alerts and reset basic faults to keep lines running
  • Troubleshoot equipment issues and identify root causes with support
  • Make basic adjustments, repairs, and complete changeovers
  • Support preventative maintenance and routine equipment checks
  • Keep work area clean, safe, and organized
  • Identify and escalate downtime or quality issues quickly
  • Perform quality checks accurately and consistently
  • Learn machine startup sequences and how equipment works together
  • Recognize downtime causes, bottlenecks, and scrap issues
  • Operate production lines independently as skills develop
Requirements:

Experience & Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Strong mechanical interest or hands-on experience (cars, tools, building, fixing things, etc.)
  • Comfortable working with tools and learning new equipment
  • Previous manufacturing experience is a plus
  • Technical or shop class experience is helpful
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship
