Position:

As a Batching Operator, you will be responsible for cooking batches to their required temperature as set forth by the provided job ticket. Additionally, our Batching Operators are responsible for following specified instructions, confirming and double checking all pre-weighed ingredients for accuracy and calculating the proper number of full units for sugar and fruits (calculator provided).

Responsibilities:

  • Cook batches to required temperature as set forth by the job ticket.
  • Follow instructions specified on the job ticket.
  • Double check all pre-weighed ingredients for accuracy.
  • Calculating the proper number of full units for sugars and fruits (calculator provided).
  • Assisting the Packaging Operators (as needed).
  • Provide samples to Quality Assurance for testing and approval.
  • Ensure work area is kept sanitized throughout shift.

Ideal Qualifications:

  • Education: HS Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Experience: 1+ years in food manufacturing preferred.  Experience utilizing HMI screens, following Good Manufacturing Practices for a food manufacturing facility.
  • Language: Ability to read, write, and understand English. 
  • Detail Oriented: Confirming all pre-weighed ingredients for accuracy.
  • Collaborative: Working effectively with others to foster a collaborative environment.
