The individuals who reside at the CILAs are provided daily supports from a team of dedicated QIDPs, nurses, and Direct Support Professionals.A QIDP/Site Leader provides and ensures all necessary supports and services are being provided to the individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities who reside in the community. In addition, they train, coach, and supervise Direct Support Professionals to ensure the highest quality of individual card support are being maintained at all times. Additional responsibilities include, assuring compliance with current standards of practice, company policies and procedures, safety, Federal and State regulations.e an This position would be responsible for a caseload of approximately 8 residents. This position is responsible for supporting our mission in their interactions with residents, team members, vendors & community members.Hours: flexible scheduling based on resident needs. In addition, you must have a Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Sociology, Special Education, Psychology, or other closely related human services field or be a licensed Register Nurse. Other degrees and professional licenses/certificates may be considered if they meet the requirements set forth by the Illinois Department of Human Services – Division of Developmental Disabilities QIDP Job and Education Requirements Checklist. Prefer at least 1 year management experience and 1 year experience as a certified DSP. Must be 21 years or older and have a valid driver's license with less than 3 driving offenses A criminal background check and physical is required to meet requirements of the position. The background check includes the DCFS/CANTS check for abuse/neglect with children. You must also be able to complete and meet requirement of a reading and comprehension quiz.EOE EMPLOYER
