Personal Lines Account Manager - Insurance - Base Salary to 80k/year - Middleton, MA

  • Our client, a well-established independent insurance agency in the Middleton, MA area, is seeking a Personal Lines Account Manager to support and service an existing book of business. This role is responsible for managing client relationships, handling renewals, and ensuring accurate policy servicing across multiple personal lines products. This is a hybrid position requiring four days per week in the office, with one rotating remote day.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and service a book of personal lines business including home, auto, umbrella, renters, flood, boat, and inland marine policies
  • Handle policy renewals, endorsements, binders, certificates, billing inquiries, and claims support
  • Work directly with clients to review coverage, answer questions, and ensure policy accuracy
  • Process policy changes and documentation within the agency management system (AMS360)
  • Market and remarket policies with multiple insurance carriers as needed
  • Identify opportunities to round out accounts and cross-sell additional coverage

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of personal lines insurance experience within an independent insurance agency environment
  • Hands-on experience using AMS360 for policy servicing, documentation, and client management
  • Active Property and Casualty (P&C) license or ability to obtain within 90 days
  • Experience servicing multiple personal lines products (home, auto, umbrella, etc.)
  • Ability to manage renewals, endorsements, and client communication in a high-volume service environment
  • Ability to commute to Middleton, MA for a hybrid work schedule

Compensation:

  • Base salary in the 70k – 80k/year range (flexible depending on experience) plus commission on new and renewal business. Additional compensation available for rounding out existing accounts.
  • Full benefits package including Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k, PTO, Life Insurance, and Paid Holidays.
