Title Sr. Progress Developer

Salary up to $150,000.

Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Progress OpenEdge Developer to join their team. Be responsible for developing enhancements for their customized ERP platform in a fast-paced Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain Progress OpenEdge applications and integrations.
  • Build and support APIs using PASOE and related technologies.
  • Troubleshoot application issues, optimize performance, and support deployments.
  • Participate in Agile development, code reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of Progress OpenEdge / Progress 4GL development experience.
  • Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming, SQL, Linux/Unix, and application integration.
  • Experience with PASOE, WebSpeed, Progress databases, and OpenEdge Studio.
  • Proficiency with JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, JSON, AJAX, and API development/testing tools such as Postman.
  • Experience with GitHub, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, SVN, and CI/CD processes.
