Employment Status: Full-Time (.75 or greater)

Hours per Pay Period: 1.00 = 80 hours every two weeks (Non-Exempt)

Starting Wage DOE: $17.00 - 21.25

The Call Center Agent will promote and represent Billings Clinic and all services and programs and create a welcoming atmosphere by answering the telephone and processing calls quickly and accurately. Call Center Agents perform duties that include but are not limited to, answering calls, routing calls, taking messages, scheduling, verification of appointments, and responding to medical and non-medical alarms for Billings Clinic within a team environment.

Essential Job Functions

• Communicates with all callers using Personal Service Excellence and being Kind, Safe, and Courageous.

• Accurately assists all callers with their needs. Whether transferring, paging, or answering questions our goal is to get the caller to the right place, person or with the right answer.

• May include appointment verification, and basic information about programs, providers, and other public initiatives throughout the organization.

• May provide basic scheduling assistance such as canceling or rescheduling.

• Responds to alarms (medical and non-medical) and follows protocol(s) that instruct who to, how to, and when to respond ensuring patient and staff safety are the primary focus.

• Utilizes performance improvement principles to assess and improve quality.

• Identifies needs and sets goals for own growth and development; meets all mandatory organizational and departmental requirements.

• Maintains competency in all organizational, departmental and outside agency environmental, employee or patient safety standards relevant to job performance.

• Supports and models behaviors consistent with Billings Clinic’s mission, vision, values, code of business conduct and service expectations.
