The Buckeye Capital Advisors team is seeking a passionate individual to join our team. This individual will be responsible for working directly with clients by crafting thoughtful financial plans and delivering personalized wealth management advice. This individual must be knowledgeable of and comply with all rules and regulations of the firm as well as the various regulatory agencies.
What you are good at:
  • Financial Planning Expertise- Possesses deep knowledge of financial planning concepts and tools, with the ability to analyze client data and build customized, goal-based plans.
  • Communication -Providing excellent verbal and written services to clients, including prompt, accurate, and timely attention to detail.
  • Detail Oriented & Driven - Thorough and rigorous attention to detail; Ability to manage multiple high-touch projects simultaneously with precision and accuracy; Takes initiative and ownership in all aspects of role from logistics to processes and is eager to learn.
  • Team-Oriented: Must be comfortablecollaborating with team members and other departments across the organization.
  • Problem Solving & Critical Thinking - Thorough and resourceful problem solver with a solutions-based approach to every situation; Proactively takes on challenges with optimism and a helpful attitude.

Responsibilities:
  • Gather and analyze data, develop of financial planning recommendations, implementation, and portfolio management.
  • Profile clients to identify investment and lending needs and coordinates the delivery of investment, fiduciary and lending solutions to satisfy those needs.
  • Participate in client meetings and deliver advice to clients.
  • Assist the FAs with implementing defined asset allocation and investment strategy.
  • Coordinate with other members of the team to make sure planning information is gathered, filed, and uploaded into MoneyGuide effectively.
  • Serve as an expert in financial planning topics and trends. Stay current on tax law, estate regulations, and capital market trends.
  • Offer investment ideas based on firm research, team guidelines and asset allocation strategies tailored to the risk profile and investment objectives of their clients.

What you have:
  • 2+ years of experience in financial planning
  • Professional Licenses: CFP, Series 7, 63 and 65 (or 66)
  • Must obtain insurance license within 12 months of hire
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Expert knowledge in financial planning topics, concepts, and strategies
  • Demonstrate advanced analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong interest in financial planning and investment management
  • Advanced knowledge and hands on experience using financial planning software (Ideally MoneyGuide)
