Job description

Candidates should have 2+ years of relevant healthcare experience with meaningful exposure to medical billing, hospital billing, clinical research, revenue cycle, coding, or a closely related function.
Candidates should also have:
Hands-on experience reviewing medical bills, claims, charges, or coding information.
Working knowledge of medical billing and the relationship between clinical services, procedures, codes, and resulting charges.
Familiarity with CPT codes and medical coding concepts.
Ability to review and interpret patient charts and clinical documentation.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Ability to independently investigate discrepancies and make decisions based on available clinical and billing documentation.
Comfort working across multiple systems and reviewing detailed reports/work queues.
Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment and report onsite in Columbus three days per week.
