Job Overview:
Pay Range: $26hr - $28hr
Requirement/Must Have:
- 1+ years of experience in talent acquisition or human resources.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for acquiring talent for all divisions at the organization through various activities.
- Request job duties from hiring managers and add appropriate knowledge, skills, and abilities.
- Create vacancies in the applicant tracking system (Taleo).
- Post positions to internal and external job boards using the Ohio Hiring Management System (OHMS) platform.
- Notify sourcing partners of vacancies and represent the agency at job fairs.
- Serve as the Human Resources (HR) representative during interviews.
- Screen applications for minimum qualifications and conduct reference checks, background checks, and drug tests.
- Process electronic Personnel Action Requests (ePARs) for hiring, transfers, and promotions.
- Support employee engagement initiatives by serving as the agency coordinator for the annual Combined Charitable Campaign (CCC) and other charitable initiatives.
- Maintain the agency's Tables of Organization (TOs) by making revisions when employees leave, join, or change positions.
- Perform other assigned responsibilities including disposing of personnel and selection files according to records retention schedules.
