Job description

Position Overview:

EPSI Worx is seeking an HRIS Functional Analyst to supportour client in Houston, TX. You will play a vital role in providing functionalsupport and analysis for Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) applicationmodules. The ideal candidate will have expertise in PeopleSoft HCM 9.2 andTaleo, with a focus on system modifications, testing, and data extraction. Thisrole involves designing, developing, and implementing system enhancements,collaborating with business owners, and ensuring the efficiency andfunctionality of HRIS applications.


Key Responsibilities:


System Modifications and Upgrades:

    • Design, develop, and implement system modifications and upgrades to enhance the functionality of assigned ERP application modules, primarily PeopleSoft HCM 9.2 and Taleo.

Business Case Documentation:

    • Draft business case documents, specifications, and flowcharts for changes to business processes related to HRIS applications.

Testing and Improvement:

    • Perform preliminary/cursory testing and recommend improvements for assigned application modules.

Issue Resolution:

    • Resolve complex system issues reported by UHS business owners and end users, providing timely and effective solutions.

Priority Meetings and Reporting:

    • Lead priority meetings with business owners and end users to identify critical issues and discuss system updates. Report issues to the application lead or technical staff as needed.

System Analysis and Customization:

    • Analyze system modifications and navigation infrastructure for functionality and efficiency. Create component customizations for department end users as needed.

Security Administration:

    • Serve as a campus security administrator for an assigned ERP application module. Review requests and assign appropriate security roles. 

Training Sessions:

    • Schedule training sessions, create job aids, and conduct end-user training to ensure effective utilization of HRIS applications.

Query and Reporting:

    • Create and analyze standard and ad-hoc queries and reports for data extraction and analysis.

Other Duties:

    • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

 

Qualifications:

       Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 5 years ofdirectly related experience.

       Thorough understanding of ERP applicationmodules, with expertise in PeopleSoft HCM 9.2 and Taleo.

       Experience in drafting business case documents,specifications, and flowcharting.

       Proficiency in system testing and recommendingimprovements.

       Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

       Ability to lead meetings and effectivelycommunicate with business owners and end users.

       Familiarity with security administration for ERPapplications.

       Experience in designing and delivering trainingsessions.

       Proficient in creating and analyzing standardand ad-hoc queries and reports.
