Job description

We are looking for a talented Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team for the school year.

  • Duration: 2 months, starting in January
  • Caseload: Pre-School Students

Hourly Rate Range: $46.00-$65.00 per hour

Responsibilities would include:

  • Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments to evaluate student needs.
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and therapy plans.
  • Provide direct speech-language therapy services in one-on-one, small group, and classroom settings.
  • Address articulation, fluency, voice, receptive/expressive language, and social communication challenges.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and special education teams to support student progress.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with Ohio Department of Education (ODE) and IDEA guidelines.
  • Participate in IEP meetings, student evaluations, and multidisciplinary team discussions.
  • Train and support teachers and staff on speech-language strategies and classroom accommodations.

Required Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Ohio Board of Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology License.
  • Ohio Department of Education (ODE) Pupil Services License for SLPs (required for school-based positions).
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred.
  • Fingerprint Clearance & Background Check required.
