Join Our Team as a Credentialing Coordinator!
Embark on an exciting career journey with our organization, a prominent national surgical physician group dedicated to providing wound care, ostomy care, and minor skin care services in nursing homes. We are currently seeking a Credentialing Coordinator to support the contracting and credentialing processes for our physicians and healthcare practitioners.
We are in search of a meticulous and balanced individual eager to contribute their expertise in managing all aspects of the provider credentialing process. We are committed to helping you grow and succeed in this role!
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage with various health plans, including Medicare and Medicaid.
- Complete credentialing applications and contracts with health plans.
- Collaborate with physicians to gather necessary documentation.
- Carefully monitor the status of credentialing and contracting applications, providing regular updates to leadership.
- Work collaboratively with other departments to achieve business objectives.
- Contribute to the enhancement of the provider licensing function as it evolves.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in credentialing.
- Exceptional attention to detail, a proactive approach, and strong communication skills.
- Experience in credentialing within Behavioral Health.
- Familiarity with credentialing processes across all East Coast states and California.
- This position is remote; however, candidates must reside in one of the following states: CA, CO, FL, GA, KS, MD, MO, NJ, NY, OH, OK, PA, SC, TN, TX, WY.

Compensation:
The hourly pay ranges from $21.00 to $25.00, depending on experience, along with a quarterly bonus.
