RN - Electrophysiology

EP LAB RN Shift: 4x10 Days, Call Requirements: Travelers participate in one week of weekday call every two months and one weekend of call every two months. Weekday call is from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM following the regular shift. Weekend call consists of 24-hour coverage. Most call-ins are for pacemaker cases and typically last approximately 2 hours. Call volume is generally low, with travelers rarely called in during weekday call weeks and occasional weekend call-ins based on patient needs.

The Electrophysiology (EP) Lab, located within The Ross Heart Hospital, is one of the largest and most advanced EP programs in the region, providing comprehensive care for patients with complex heart rhythm disorders. Our team performs a wide range of highly specialized procedures including cardiac ablations, device implantations, and advanced electrophysiology studies using state of the art mapping systems and the latest cardiology technologies. Our multidisciplinary team of skilled nurses, radiology technologists, and physicians collaborates closely to deliver outstanding, patient centered care in a dynamic and leading-edge environment.

There is a strict compliance deadline of Tuesday prior to start no exceptions. Candidate must complete fingerprints as soon as they sign contract. TRAVELERS WHO ARE UNRESPONSIVE OR UNCOOPERATIVE WITH CREDENTIALING ARE AT RISK OF PUSH/CANCEL. All candidates who are currently outside the state of Ohio but within driving distance will be required to drive to a fingerprinting location in Ohio as soon as possible after booking. Travelers who are extreme distances from Ohio will be mailed a fingerprinting packet, which is to be completed urgently upon receipt. Detailed instructions will be sent to the candidate by the Credentialing team. RTO required with submission, must be built into contract Locals are accepted at the same rate Reference Requirements: 2 professional references are required. At least 1 reference must be from a manager/director or someone in a formal leadership capacity (e.g., a supervisor). Charge RN acceptable for 2nd reference. No coworker references accepted. Former employees are eligible for a travel assignment once they have been away from the facility for 6 months or more Current employees are ineligible to be hired as a traveler at any Ohio State University hospital location RNs- must have valid compact or state license in hand at time of submission. MRI techs - submittals without OH license are acceptable. Education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program.
