We're now ready to take our business to the next level. The Role Reporting to the VP of Marketing, the Director of Demand Generation is responsible for growing monthly recurring revenue. A metrics-driven, charismatic leader, the Director of Demand Generation will establish revenue-driven marketing objectives and chart an effective path to achieving these goals.

This is a career-defining role that promises to be exceptionally fulfilling for the right candidate. This person is charged with growing lead volume and developing mechanisms to convert those leads into sales. Responsibilities include SEO, SEM, email marketing and social media marketing.

S/he will shepherd the development of campaigns and progressively improve our return on marketing investment. Responsibilities Grow leads, trials and revenue-generating customers Progressively improve conversion rates Build a scalable demand generation engine Segment the marketplace & design programs to tap new niches Expand our sales abroad Specific Duties Set marketing strategies for lead generation and provide clear direction to team Identify and target segments with relevant messaging and programs Establish key performance indicators and progressively improve upon metrics Hands-on execution along with management of internal employees and external vendors across the following areas: - SEO - SEM & Online advertising - Email marketing programs (marketing automation) - Social media promotion - build presence and ensure active engagement in the community - Reporting and tracking key metrics Qualifications Track record of successful B2B demand generation Excellent written and oral communication skills Experience with latest online marketing methods 10+ years in marketing, with track record of increasing responsibilities Personal Characteristics Be exceptionally bright with a highly analytical and methodical approach to solving problems Possess excellent leadership, interpersonal and communication skills Proactive, self-starter with bias-for-action that is results-oriented Willingness to roll-up sleeves, get into the details and get the job done High-energy, self-confident leader who, can effectively sell ideas and programs to others Preference for working in a start-up environment Please address the following in your cover letter: Quantifiable results from your previous marketing accomplishments Your Colors/Myers Briggs profile (if you have one) Why you think you're a great fit for this role
