Job Details:Job Description: 

As a Construction Contracts Manager, you will play a critical role in shaping Intel's supply chain strategy to secure best-in-class construction services, materials, and contractor partnerships. This position offers the opportunity to support the development of Intel's leading-edge manufacturing facilities and help deliver some of the most complex and strategically important construction projects in the industry.

This is a senior individual contributor role with significant leadership responsibility in sourcing strategy, commercial negotiations, contract development, and contract administration across a diverse portfolio of construction projects. You will work closely with stakeholders from Design Engineering, Finance, Legal, Supply Chain, and Fab Construction teams to enable Intel's manufacturing expansion initiatives.

This is an onsite position located in New Albany, Ohio.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead sourcing, qualification, and selection activities for new and existing construction suppliers and contractors.
  • Develop and present contracting strategies, commercial approaches, and compensation models that support project objectives and business goals.
  • Lead contract development, negotiation, execution, and management for design, construction, and related services.
  • Analyze market conditions, industry trends, and supplier capabilities to inform sourcing strategies and commercial decisions.
  • Drive construction procurement activities across the full lifecycle, including strategic sourcing, procurement planning, bidding, evaluation, negotiation, award, and execution.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and key supplier partners.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate financial, legal, environmental, risk management, and procurement policies while minimizing organizational risk.
  • Utilize procurement systems and tools to support project execution and continuously improve procurement processes, procedures, and documentation.
  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to cost savings, schedule adherence, supplier performance, and quality outcomes.
  • Provide coaching and training to project managers, buyers, and project teams on procurement processes, contracting strategies, and related tools.
  • Facilitate resolution of contract disputes and provide expertise in construction contracting methodologies, risk allocation, commercial management, and the relationship between cost, quality, and schedule performance.
Qualifications:

Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position.

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Construction Management, Contract Management, or a related field with 9+ years of relevant experience; OR
  • Master's degree with 6+ years of relevant experience; OR
  • PhD with 4+ years of relevant experience.
  • Experience in supply chain management, contract management, procurement, construction project management, or a related discipline.
  • Demonstrated experience leading complex contract negotiations and managing construction-related commercial agreements.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong knowledge of the U.S. construction market, including industry practices, trends, and commercial norms.
  • Expertise in procurement planning, sourcing strategy, and procurement policy development.
  • Experience supporting large-scale, technically complex construction projects, ideally within semiconductor, advanced manufacturing, data center, infrastructure, or other capital-intensive industries.
  • Proven ability to manage contracts and commercial negotiations for multi-million- or billion-dollar construction programs.

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in the US: $151,900.00-214,440.00 USDThe range displayed on this job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
