Job description

Specific Accountabilities:
PEOPLE
  • Behave in a manner consistent with and supportive of the mission, vision, and values of the company.

  • Provide support and assistance to management employees during regulatory and accreditation reviews.
  • Provide consultation to management with the development, and review of all plans of correction, as applicable.
  • Promote positive, cooperative relationships with all company employees and outside contacts.
  • Identify, develop and provide ongoing trainings based on regulatory/accreditation updates and trends.
  • Coordinate and conduct regulatory compliance and accreditation training as assigned by the supervisor.
  • Be accessible to all levels of management for supportAssist in the training of external stakeholder contracts and identified internal trainings.
  • Have direct contact with management to ensure quality service delivery, as needed.
  • Report any complaints or concerns by individuals served, employees, or outside contacts to the supervisor.
  • Respect the rights and confidentiality of individuals served and assures they are met.
  • Advise appropriate Human Resources personnel of any issues affecting employee morale or the working relationships within the management group.
  • Identify ways of advertising educational programs to employees and external contacts.
PROCESS
  • Know and assure implementation of all programmatic policies and procedures.
  • Identify and develop trainings based on quality audits and trends.
  • Attend agency meetings, as required.
  • Identify and provide recommendations to policies and procedures.
  • Assist with development, implementation and ongoing analysis of process improvement reporting and systems.
  • Assist in the ongoing preparation and required compliance for CARF accreditation reviews.
  • Assist in the research and implementation of new technology to improve organizational process and efficiency.
  • Participate and assist with PBS CEU Committee. Ensure that licensed staff trainings are provided.
  • Work on assigned process improvement projects to enhance quality of care and compliance.
  • Participate in federal, state and local trainings to keep apprised on regulatory changes.
  • Develop, modify, and implement policies and procedures with a focus on quality outcomes for the individual served, while assuring compliance with regulatory agencies.
  • Complete other duties as assigned by management.
PROFIT
  • Utilize supplies and other resources in an efficient and responsible manner.
  • Monitor outcome measurements and provide annual reporting.
QUALITY
  • Conduct Quality Assurance reviews as assigned and scheduled.
  • Oversee and assure compliance with Psychiatric amp; Behavioral Solutions QA review and nurse practitioner peer review process.
  • Assist management team to address and correct any identified problems.
  • Conduct chart reviews to assure documentation is adhering to regulatory standards.
  • Assist with development, follow through and monitoring of plans of corrections for internal and external reviews/audits.
  • Track and monitor all PBS QA reviews.
  • Communicate all necessary information and quality assurance issues to the appropriate management personnel.
  • Track all Quality Assurance reviews, monitoring for trends, identifying training needs and monitoring plans of correction.
  • Participate in Psychiatric amp; Behavioral Solutions Quality Assurance Review Committee.
  • Monitor compliance with company policies and procedures and report concerns to management.
  • Adhere to all safety standards including but not limited to maintaining a safe work environment, reporting any problems or concerns through the appropriate channels, participating in company-sponsored safety initiatives.
Minimum Requirements: Minimum 18 years of age. Must be a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor, Licensed Independent Social Worker or Registered Nurse in Ohio. Quality assurance experience in a related field is preferred. The Quality Auditor amp; Educator must be responsible, mature, organized, and possess solid communication skills. Must be able to work independently and demonstrate sound decision-making skills. The Quality Auditor amp; Educator must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Candidate for this position must be willing to use their own vehicle to transport to conduct company business.
Supervisory Responsibilities: None
Hours Worked: The Quality Auditor amp; Educator is a full-time position. The Quality Auditor amp; Educator is expected to carry out the duties and responsibilities of this position during a forty-hour week. At times this position may need to be flexible to carry out various duties as well as to accommodate any emergencies, regulatory/accreditation reviews or to review member services provided outside normal business hours. In addition, travel may be required to other regions outside of the primary region assigned to the Quality Auditor amp; Educator. If schedule adjustment is necessary, arrangements should be made with the QA amp; Training Director.
