DaVita is seeking a compassionate and adaptable Certified Dialysis Technician to join our Float Pool.

In this dynamic role, you will provide life-saving care to patients with end-stage renal disease across multiple outpatient dialysis clinics in the area. As a float technician, you will enjoy a varied work environment, support different clinic teams, and make a vital difference in the lives of patients who depend on us for their care.
Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver safe, hygienic, and compassionate dialysis care
  • Monitor patients before, during, and after treatment
  • Set up and maintain dialysis equipment
  • Record vital signs and patient data
  • Educate patients on treatment and kidney health
  • Collaborate with nurses, dietitians, social workers, and other care team members

Requirements

  • Dialysis Experience: Required.
  • Certification: Must possess an active state or national Dialysis Technician Certification (e.g., CCHT, BONENT, NNCC).
  • Flexibility: Willingness and reliable transportation to travel to multiple clinics within a designated regional radius.
  • Accredited High School diploma, general education development ("GED") credential, or equivalent
  • Comfortable around blood, needles, and medical equipment
  • Physically able to work long shifts on your feet
  • Willing to float between local clinics if needed
  • Flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Preferred: CNA, MA, CHT, phlebotomy certification, or healthcare experience
