Job Requirements
  • At least 2 years of total Level III/IV NICU experience
  • Minimum 1 year of recent Level IV NICU experience
  • Active Ohio RN license or Compact RN license in hand
  • BLS and NRP required
  • PALS preferred or required per unit needs
  • Epic charting experience required
  • Ability to provide 2 references at submission, including at least 1 manager or supervisor reference
  • Willingness to float as needed and follow facility float expectations
  • Comfort working with neonates, infants, and pediatric patients
  • Ability to support a high-acuity environment with frequent trach care and strong family involvement
Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality nursing care to critically ill neonates in a Level IV NICU setting
  • Support patients with complex respiratory, cardiac, surgical, and developmental needs
  • Float as needed to PICU, CV PICU, stepdown, Med/Surg, and other related units
  • Deliver skilled bedside care including line management, ventilation support, thermoregulation, feeding support, and medication administration
  • Monitor patient condition closely and respond quickly to changes in acuity
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to promote safe, family-centered care
  • Document accurately in Epic and maintain strong clinical communication
  • Contribute to a supportive, team-oriented environment focused on excellent outcomes for neonatal patients
