Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT)

MLR Healthcare is seeking a skilled and dedicated Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) to join our respected healthcare facility in Ohio. Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform diagnostic testing in various laboratory departments (hematology, chemistry, microbiology, etc.) with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Collect, process, and analyze patient specimens according to established protocols.
  • Interpret test results and communicate findings to physicians and healthcare providers.
  • Adhere to quality control standards and maintain laboratory equipment.
  • Ensure proper documentation of patient information, test results, and quality assurance procedures.
  • Assist in maintaining a clean and safe working environment in the laboratory.
Qualifications:
  • Associate's degree in Clinical Laboratory Technology or a related field.
  • Certification as a Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) from a recognized accrediting body (ASCP, AMT, or equivalent).
  • Strong knowledge of laboratory procedures, instruments, and safety protocols.
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • 1+ years of experience in a clinical laboratory setting is preferred but not required.
