Position Summary:
Fully competent in one or more scientific/technical areas. Plans and conducts scientific asignments requiring mastery of specialized techniques.

Networking/Key Relationships:
  • Responsible for cross-functional collaboration for technical solutions related to released (on-market) product support primarily as well as working with R&D during new product development, with a focus on manufacturability and transfer into manufacturing. Frequent inter-organizational and outside. May represent the company to outside organizations on technical issues.

The annual salary range Werfen reasonably expects to pay for the position is $110,000 to $130,000. Compensation is reasonably based upon multiple factors including education, relevant experience, skillset, knowledge, and specific needs of the business.
Qualifications
Minimum Knowledge & Experience Required for the Position:
Education:
  • Knowledge acquired through a Bachelor's, Master's Degree or Ph.D. Degree

Experience:
  • Bachelor's plus 7 years of relevant experience or
  • Master's plus 5 years of relevant experience or
  • Ph.D. degree plus 0 - 1 year of experience
  • Hematology experience required, including expertise in blood analysis techniques, interpretation of hematologic data, and familiarity with relevant laboratory methodologies.

  • Technical leadership, problem solving skills, effective time management, team manage ment, effective in building cross-functional relationships and effective communication.
  • Duties require broad use and application of scientific principles, theories and concepts in field of expertise.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Must demonstrate the ability to perform all duties and responsibilities higher than Scientist III level.
