DETAILS: Learning & Development Manager

COMPENSATION: $90,000 - $100,000 Base, plus Bonus, Benefits on day 1

LOCATION: La Vergne, TN (Hybrid Role, 4 days in office)

We are looking for a Learning & Development Manager to manage all learning and development initiatives, including scheduling and logistics of courses, managing classrooms, designing and delivering courses, and entering and reporting learning-related data. Additionally, this role is accountable for overseeing learning-related technologies, such as learning management systems and electronically distributed learning content. RESPONSIBILITIES: Learning & Development Manager

  • Provides assistance for Learning & Organizational Development events through instructional, developmental, communication, and administrative activities, which include data tracking and entry, metrics, and reporting.
  • Collaborates with HR or client groups to identify and develop learning and organizational development initiatives aimed at enhancing group or associate performance
  • Conducts formal needs and gap analysis and leverages data analysis to identify learning needs
  • Works closely with client groups to identify position and group competencies
  • Evaluates position and group needs and identifies performance gaps
  • Proposes and implements tailored learning and organizational development solutions
  • Develops and delivers instructor-led learning initiatives for both management and non-management associates
  • Measures the effectiveness of instructional programs and generates appropriate metrics to demonstrate return on investment.

REQUIREMENTS: Learning & Development Manager

  • Possess a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as training, education, HR, business, or similar
  • Demonstrate 3 years of experience in identifying position and group competencies through formal needs/gap analysis and data analysis
  • Exhibit 3 years of experience in creating, developing, and delivering instructor-led training for both management and non-management associates
  • Have 3 years of experience measuring the effectiveness of instructional programs and generating appropriate metrics to demonstrate return on investment
  • Demonstrate 2 years of experience in facilitating both small and large group settings
  • Possess 1 year of experience implementing learning and organizational development processes to enhance associate or group performance, including strategic talent or performance management initiatives like succession planning, change management, competency modeling, or career development
  • Have 1 year of experience in process mapping, process improvement, and continuous improvement techniques like Lean Manufacturing/Six Sigma.
