Job description

SUMMARY:

Quillian Powell Construction Co., Inc. is seeking a qualified Project Manager for commercial construction projects. The Project Manager is responsible for the administration, planning, scheduling and budgeting for each assigned project. This position requires little or no guidance and someone who can effectively and successfully manage all aspects of commercial construction projects. Experience with Procore or Trimble project management software is a plus.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Prepare subcontract agreements and scopes of work.
  • Write purchase orders.
  • Develop and maintain construction schedule.
  • Process all submittal data and maintain submittal log.
  • Manage and track RFI's.
  • Manage and trach change orders.
  • Direct all construction activities and project planning processes.
  • Conduct monthly subcontractor meetings and distribute meeting minutes. Conduct monthly meetings with owners/architects and distribute meeting minutes.
  • Obtain bonds and insurance certificates as required for each project. Verify all testing/inspections are completed and meet specifications.
  • Obtain building permits as required for each project.
  • Process subcontractor pay requests.
  • Review and approve all invoices for assigned projects.
  • Develop and maintain subcontractor and supplier contact lists.
  • Manage the closeout process to include preparation of as-built drawings and submission of all O&M manuals, warranties, lien waivers, etc.
  • MINIMUM OF 5 YEARS EXPERIENCE AS A COMMERCIAL CONSTRUCTION PROJECT MANAGER.

PAY WILL BE BASED ON EXPERIENCE.

  • 8 hours/day Monday-Friday
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
