This individual will partner closely with market, practice, and account leaders to identify new opportunities, strengthen client relationships, and drive business growth across a variety of industries.
We are looking for someone who is passionate about building relationships, uncovering client needs, and helping organizations solve complex business and technology challenges through consulting solutions.
What You'll Do
• Partner with account and practice leaders to pursue and grow strategic client opportunities across the Ohio Valley region
• Build and maintain a healthy pipeline of new and existing client opportunities
• Drive new business development efforts, including securing new client relationships and Master Service Agreements (MSAs)
• Develop trusted relationships with client stakeholders and executive decision-makers
• Lead and manage the sales process from initial outreach through deal closure
• Collaborate with internal consulting teams to shape solutions that align to client needs and business goals
• Maintain an activity and relationship-focused approach with an emphasis on driving measurable results
• Leverage Slalom sales tools and platforms to manage pipeline forecasting and opportunity tracking
• Partner with alliance and ecosystem partners to identify and support growth opportunities
• Represent Slalom in the local business community through networking events, marketing initiatives, and client engagements
• Mentor and collaborate with fellow sales and account leaders across the broader Slalom organization
• Consistently achieve or exceed annual sales targets
What You'll Bring
• 5+ years of experience in business development, sales, or account management
• Experience shaping and selling consulting or professional services engagements
• Proven ability to originate and close new business opportunities
• Strong relationship-building skills with executive and business stakeholders
• Experience navigating complex sales cycles and managing multiple opportunities simultaneously
• Strong collaboration, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work cross-functionally with consulting, delivery, and leadership teams
• Organized and strategic mindset with strong prioritization and pipeline management capabilities
• A passion for sales, relationship-building, technology, and business transformation
