Job Summary:
Pure Storage is a company reshaping the data storage industry, and they are seeking a Senior Manager of Product Management for Data Protection. In this role, you will lead the strategic direction and operational execution for the data resilience portfolio, managing a high-performing team to ensure data remains resilient against cyber threats.
Responsibilities:
• Direct the Data Resilience Roadmap: Establish and execute operational objectives for the Data Protection portfolio, prioritizing high-impact security features, automated recovery, and cloud-native integrations that drive distinct market advantages.
• Lead Category-Level Execution: Direct the complete product lifecycle from ideation to scale across multiple teams, establishing clear KPIs for recovery time objectives (RTO), recovery point objectives (RPO), and product adoption.
• Build and Coach a High-Performing Team: Actively manage and mentor a team of product managers, providing direction, clear development goals, and evaluation criteria to drive exceptional organizational outcomes.
• Champion GTM & Field Readiness: Partner closely with Sales, Field Enablement, and Marketing to develop competitive positioning, ensuring global field organizations are fully equipped to showcase our security differentiation.
• Synthesize Market & Threat Intelligence: Serve as the strategic voice of the customer, translating evolving cyber threat vectors and compliance requirements into actionable product priorities and long-term business strategy.

Required:
• Advanced technical understanding of backup architecture, enterprise storage, disaster recovery, and data security standards.
• Ability to translate organizational objectives into successful product strategies.
• Proven ability to manage, coach, and develop professional/technical employees.
• Ability to direct the activities of multiple sections or departments.
• Ability to make data-informed trade-offs regarding costs and staffing.
• Exceptional communication skills with a track record of regularly interacting with senior management and executive levels.
• Strong analytical abilities used to evaluate market trends.
