    A Sales Associate for Nuna Baby Essentials, Inc. will embody an exceptional customer service mindset, delivering an exceptional, personalized shopping experience that ensures every customer feels valued.


    With genuine enthusiasm for the brand, the Sales Associate will build rapport, engage customers, and educate them on product features and benefits that align with their lifestyle needs. Understanding that first impressions matter, the Sales Associate will take pride in maintaining the cleanliness, organization, and overall presentation of Nuna’s retail store.


    Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    Customer Experience

    • Represent the brand with professionalism, positivity, and enthusiasm. Deliver a premium, personalized customer experience aligned with core values.
    • Warmly greet customers, build rapport by understanding their design style, lifestyle, and story, and ask thoughtful questions to determine needs. Provide confident product recommendations that foster loyalty and repeat business.
    • Actively listen to customer concerns, address issues professionally, and escalate when appropriate.
    • Identify and act on cross-selling and up-selling opportunities when they offer genuine value.
    • Operate the point‑of‑sale system accurately, process payments, and ensure a smooth, efficient checkout experience.

    • Adhere to all people‑safety standards and policies to ensure a safe workplace.

    • Manage stockroom inventory in accordance with safety requirements.

    Requirements and Qualifications

    Experience & Education

    • One (1) year of experience in retail, customer service, or sales.
    • High school diploma or GED required.

    • Must be eighteen (18) years or older.
    • Be available for scheduled training sessions.
    • Ability to work flexible shifts, stand for extended periods, and lift items weighing up to 30 lbs. as needed for showroom maintenance is required.
    • Employees who are in Non-Exempt positions must accurately complete, obtain approval from their manager, and timely submit a timecard in the form provided by the Company, as it coincides with the Company’s bi-weekly payroll schedule.


    Store Operating Hours:

    • Daily 10:00 am - 6:00 pm.


    Minimum part-time availability includes:

    • Three weekdays (Monday-Thursday) with at least Full Availability.
    • Two weekend days (Friday–Sunday) with full-day availability.
    • Fully Available means one hour before store opening hours & one-hour after closing hours.
    • Ability to work weekends and holidays is required. Please note that this role has mandatory blackout dates during the peak holiday season; Black Friday & Black Friday weekend, and December 14th through 31st, during which, time off requests are not permitted.


    California Pay Transparency Act:

    • The pay rate for this role is $20.50 per hour.
    • Target compensation range and subsequent actual salary are determined by several factors, including, but not limited to, specific skills, competencies, years of experience, geographic location, and education, as aligned with the job description.


    Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
