Operations Program Manager (Multi-Site)
Summary
The Operations Program Manager is responsible for leading and delivering multi-site production programs across the full program lifecycle. This role ensures programs are executed on time, within scope, and aligned to cost, quality, delivery, and customer commitments. The Operations Program Manager serves as the primary point of coordination between customers, site leadership, and cross-functional teams to drive consistent execution and scalable performance across the manufacturing network.
This role combines core program management discipline with strong operations and production execution leadership, including dashboard implementation, visibility metrics, root cause and corrective actions, continuous improvement, and successful NPI/MRR transfers into production.
Key Responsibilities
Program & Production Management
• Lead and deliver multi-site production programs, ensuring alignment to scope, schedule, cost, quality, and customer requirements.
• Serve as the primary program point of contact for internal and external customers.
• Develop, maintain, and execute detailed program plans defining milestones, deliverables, dependencies, and risks.
• Proactively manage changes to scope, schedule, and cost with proper documentation and approvals.
Multi-Site Execution & Cross-Functional Leadership
• Work in concert with site leaders, process leadership, planning, procurement, NPI, program management, production management, quality, and supply chain teams.
• Coordinate cross-functional resources across multiple sites.
• Lead Integrated Program Team (IPT) activities.
• Identify cross-site risks and drive mitigation plans.
NPI & MRR Transfers to Production
• Lead transfer of NPIs and MRRs into production.
• Coordinate readiness reviews and risk mitigation.
• Drive stabilization to steady-state production.
Dashboards, Metrics & Visibility
• Drive implementation of standard dashboards and visibility metrics across sites.
• Ensure consistent KPI definitions (OTD, past due, WIP, yield, capacity, cost, NPI readiness).
Root Cause, Corrective Action & Continuous Improvement
• Lead RCCA efforts for production, quality, delivery, or cost issues.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean or operational excellence methods.
• Deploy lessons learned across sites.
Governance, Reviews & Communication
• Conduct regular program reviews with stakeholders and customers.
• Provide program status reporting (G/Y/R).
• Support proposals, estimates, schedules, and statements of work.
• Ensure standard program management processes are applied.
Qualifications
Education
Bachelor's Degree required (Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, or related field preferred)
Experience
• 4-7 years of experience in program management, operations, or manufacturing
• Experience managing multi-site production programs
• Customer-facing program management experience preferred
Skills
• Strong program planning and execution skills
• Cross-functional leadership in matrixed environments
• Experience with operational KPIs and dashboards
• Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills
Other Requirements
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; ERP/MES/BI tools a plus
• Ability to travel up to 25%
Work Environment
Office-based role within a manufacturing environment supporting multiple production sites
