The State of South Carolina is looking for a Project Manager - Project Lead
Why is this position open: New position - The Project Manager (PM) will be assigned to high priority projects for the South Carolina Department of Health and Human Services (SCDHHS), the Medicaid Agency for SC. The PM will interact with multiple business units and vendors.
Will close to submissions on 10/30 at 5:00PM EST.
Interview Process: 1 round, Virtual/Online
Duration of the Contract: 12 months
Possibility for Extension: Yes
Work Location: Fully Onsite - 5 days/week
Candidate Location: Candidate MUST be a SC resident or willing to relocate to SC prior to starting the role at their own expense.

Required Skills

Project Management Professional Certification (PMP)

3+ years of experience in project management in a healthcare, insurance, OR information technology environment.

3+ years of experience working with SharePoint and other typical project management tools, including Visio, PowerPoint, MS Project, Word, Access and Excel.

Preferred Skills

Experience in Medicaid or other healthcare claims system(s) IT projects

Experience working with risk management, including risk triggers and managing risks to project plan tasks.
