Associate Product Line Manager - Speciality Ceramics

What you will enjoy doing*

• In this role you will organize, lead, train, and develop talent to ensure a high performing team within the specialty ceramics departments of the atomization business while reporting to the Senior Product Line Manager
• You will monitor and adjust operational functions to ensure commitments are met by anticipating production (and non-production) problems, developing contingency actions, and resolving critical issues
• Further, you will develop, manage, and continuously track annual and periodic production budgets and adjust as necessary
• Additionally, you will have responsibility for employee safety, product quality, manufacturing schedule and on-time delivery metrics
• You will have the opportunity to contribute to short and long-term organizational planning and strategy as a member of the management team
• You will work to maintain solid communication between a cross-functional team to ensure production related issues are promptly addressed and appropriate corrective actions implemented

What makes you great

• Minimum BS/BA with 4+ years of experience ORMS/MA/MBA with 2+ years of experience OR 7+ years of related operationaland/or supervisory related experience with broad knowledge of principlesand practices within operations
• It is preferred that you will have 5-10 yearsof direct experience with ceramic powder production
• You should be able to demonstrate strongdecision-making and business judgement skills
• You are self -directed and canorganize and prioritize tasks to meet business objectives
• Permit to Work certified or havethe ability to become certified within 6 months of taking the position
• You will have the ability to workall shifts and weekends as necessary to support production
