What you will enjoy doing*
  • You will be required to operate and monitor acetylene generation and processing equipment and perform acetylene cylinder filling assignments including inspections, calculations, labeling, handling, and maintenance
  • Execute daily work assignments ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Conduct troubleshooting, minor maintenance, and routine inspection of equipment
  • Operate and maintain process machinery and equipment
  • You will need to perform pre-fill and post-fill cylinder inspections to ensure safe transport and use
  • It will be critical to regularly inspect and maintain filling equipment and monitoring devices and accurately complete and maintain cylinder filling records

What makes you great
  • This role requires a High School Degree or GED and minimum 1-year experience in an industrial setting
  • You must complete company-administered instruction and pass exams in both written and practical demonstrations
  • You will demonstrate ability to understand, follow procedures, and complete tasks on time
  • Forklift training and experience are preferred
  • You are capable of lifting 10-20 pounds regularly and occasionally lifting 50-100 pounds
  • Ability to move containers and pallets weighing up to 2000 pounds using material handling equipment is required
  • Safety is a top priority in all Driver/Operations
  • You must perform basic math functions and read/comprehend relevant documents
