Job description

Minimum qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent engineering experience.
  • 5 years of experience in manufacturing or Test Engineering or equivalent work experience.
  • 3 years of experience developing and integrating manufacturing test hardware using custom electronics, fixturing, or instrumentation.
  • Experience coding in Python, Bash, or Shell scripting to generate product-specific test plans and executing test processes accordingly.

Preferred qualifications:
  • Experience developing and integrating manufacturing test hardware using custom electronics, fixturing, and instrumentation.
  • Experience working with server, storage, and networking products.
  • Experience with design for test (DfT), structural tests (ICT/BSCAN), Board and System level Functional Test (L6 and L10).
  • Experience with test station bring-up, calibration, setup for production test purposes, working with CM partners or contract manufacturing on Original Design Manufacturer (ODM), Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), or Joint Design Manufacturer (JDM) projects
  • Experience in establishing system calibration, gauge R&R, and correlation study for each change management.
  • Knowledge with the Linux operating system and common command line tools.

Responsibilities
  • Design, build, optimize and deploy test platforms for Google compute/storage/ML servers at the global manufacturing partners.
  • Collaborate with the NPI team to define design for test (DFT) requirements and contribute input to Manufacturing Test Strategy.
  • Deliver caliber Manufacturing Test Engineering support for new and existing products.
  • Drive initiatives to improve test process efficiencies, improve test coverage, and reduce cost.
  • Analyze, troubleshoot and identify root causes of manufacturing yield issues and data center field escapes while driving issues to closure with corrective and preventive measures.
