Job description

Legacy Talent Search is currently seeking candidates for an Engineering Project Manager role in Biddeford, ME Our client is a well-established industry leader known for innovation and a commitment to delivering the highest quality products. With a focus on continuous improvement, they pride themselves on maintaining excellence at every stage of their engineering and manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities:
· Lead engineering projects from concept through completion, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to specification.
· Coordinate cross-functional teams including engineering, manufacturing, quality, procurement, and operations to achieve project objectives.
· Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, resource allocation, and project documentation.
· Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement effective solutions to keep projects on track.
· Review engineering drawings, technical specifications, and project requirements to ensure compliance with customer and company standards.
· Facilitate meetings with internal stakeholders, customers, and vendors to communicate project status and resolve technical issues.
· Support new product development, process improvements, and capital equipment projects.
· Ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and company policies throughout all phases of the project.
· Prepare reports, project updates, and performance metrics for leadership and key stakeholders.
· Drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance overall project execution.

Qualifications:
· Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related technical field.
· 5+ years of experience managing engineering or manufacturing projects.
· Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, engineering principles, and project management methodologies.
· Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
· Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
· Experience with Microsoft Project, ERP systems, AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar engineering software is preferred.
· PMP certification is a plus but not required.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make sound business decisions.
