    This Customer Sales Lead (CSL) position perfectly embodies that ambition, as you will own and be responsible the sales execution of $210M of revenue with Dollar General as a vital member of the Customer Business Team (CBT). The CSL serves as the liaison between Kraft Heinz and the Dollar General Team, leading all selling activities & driving efforts tied to improving our financial & market share profile. The CSL aims to deliver revenue and share objectives, pursue business strategies to of growth, and ensure that coordinated cross-functional sales value is delivered to the customer through implementation of the sales plan and shelving objectives.
    Essential Functions & Responsibilities
    • Effectively partner with the customer, building rapport at all levels to fully understand their business, the marketplace, and affect positive business growth
    • Achieve promotional revenue objectives by tactic, price point, drive period & selling event while effectively implementing Kraft Heinz pricing strategies for owned categories
    • Owns customer P&L for the respective categories of coverage.
    • Builds and maintains Kraft Heinz business through proven results measured by profitability achievement, share gains, revenue targets, trade forecasting, new and core item introductions/distribution
    • Leverages available resources and scale to elevate executional excellence across cross-functional business planning in Category Leadership, Supply Chain, Finance and Shopper Marketing
    • Mentors, manages, and coaches a dotted line report through assessment of talent, providing constructive and timely feedback, along with practical development plans.

    Expected Experience & Required Skills
    • Be consistent across the job posting, interview, assessments, and the job itself
    • Proven & tested experience in customer management, account management, and/or retail sales management for a CPG company
    • Previous experience with Dollar General or other large retail chain customer with a book of business over +$50 million is ideal.
    • Reside in the Nashville geography or open to relocation.
    • Proven skills embodying a customer-first mentality for effective customer management and selling to achieve objectives
    • Strong financial competence - understanding of profit and revenue drivers and analysis with a proficiency in deploying trade
    • Trusted to work autonomously within a CBT framework to plan, organize and set/achieve priorities

    Willing to travel 10-20% out of the area as needed

    New Hire Base Salary Range:
    $141,500.00 - $176,900.00Bonus: This position is eligible for a performance-based bonus as provided by the plan terms and governing documents.
    The compensation offered will take into account internal equity and may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors
