Job description

This position is located in USA VA Arlington, however, a hybrid working model is acceptable. Your future duties and responsibilities: • Process Optimization: Design, develop, and optimize new and existing manufacturing processes to increase productivity and product quality. • Data Analysis & Improvement: Analyze production data, track metrics, and identify areas for improvement to implement process upgrades and enhancements. • Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve issues that arise during production by troubleshooting problems, implementing corrective actions, and performing root cause analysis. • Simulation & Testing: Utilize process simulation software to test and predict the outcomes of proposed changes, helping to find the most appropriate production strategies. • Documentation: Prepare detailed process documentation, operating instructions, and reports to document process status and changes. • Compliance & Safety: Ensure that processes comply with all relevant regulations, including environmental, safety, and quality standards. • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with other engineers, R&D teams, production teams, and quality control personnel to facilitate process improvements and technology integration. Required qualifications to be successful in this role: Journeyman:
• Education and/or Experience: Bachelor's degree and/or 2 to 5 years of experience
• Security Clearance: TS/SCI required with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI with Poly
• Technical Expertise: A strong understanding of the industry's specific processes and systems is essential. • Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills: Strong skills in analyzing complex data, identifying problems, and developing effective solutions. • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to collaborate with teams and report findings to management. • Project Management: The ability to manage projects, including planning, execution, and evaluation of new processes. • Software Proficiency: Familiarity with industry-specific software, including process simulation and CAD tools. Senior:
• Education and/or Experience: Bachelor's degree and/or 5 to 10 years of experience
• Security Clearance: TS/SCI required with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI with Poly
