Job description

Title: Senior Software Test Engineer
Location: Raleigh NC
Pay Rate: 50-70/HR on W2
Monday to Friday (On-site required)
1- Conduct comprehensive manual testing to validate software functionality, performance, and user experience across a variety of scenarios.
2- Create and maintain test protocol documents as required.
Prepare test report documentation, including a complete traceability matrix.
3- Ensure all work adheres to SOPs and applicable regulatory standards, including FDA requirements and IEC 62304.
4- Perform additional duties as assigned based on business needs. "
Strong Test Automation for Desktop GUI

  • Hands-on experience automating desktop application UI testing

  • Experience developing automation frameworks

  • Specific tool mentioned: Squish (for GUI automation)

  • Ability to build and run unit + functional automated test scripts

Senior-Level Experience

  • 7+ years in software testing

  • Demonstrated senior-level responsibilities in previous roles (not just years but quality of experience)

  • Solid understanding of QA processes, strategy, and best practices

Manual Testing Capability
