General Summary:

Astronics Test Systems is seeking a Customer Support Representative to join our team. They will perform a wide range of administrative and warehousing functions, including sales order creation, RMA processing, responding to customer inquiries and management of the spares inventory. May participate in various customer-working groups.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist in the administration of the Return Material Authorization (RMA) process for ATS products

• Assign customer RMA numbers for repair orders

• Generate Manufacturing Orders (MOs) for incoming RMAs

• Coordinate the receipt of purchase orders for repair costs, reviews and requests needed changes

• Generate Sales Orders and coordinate the shipment of RMAs back to the customer

• Support the Returned Material Authorization (RMA) process as it applies to the return of faulty specialized parts, components and materials to/from outside suppliers and vendors/subcontractors. Maintain Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) records and coordinates RMA activities with the Procurement organization, as required

• Assist in the processing of Parts Requests for customer repairs

• Respond to customers on purchase order, shipping and RMA status inquiries

• Assist in the shipment of consignment parts; maintenance of the proper level of spares in the Irvine spares pool; and internal audits of inventory levels.

• Maintain section filing and other internal administrative requirements as requested

• Create Bid sheets for RMA’s that are TDI

Job Specifications:

Minimum of two years’ experience in warehousing, customer support or sales administration. Must have competencies in basic Microsoft Office including Excel and Word. Previous technical support experience and/or related certificate preferred, but not required.

Compensation:

For individuals hired to work in California, Astronics Test Systems (ATS) is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This compensation range is specific to California. Any offer extended to a candidate will be based upon their unique set of knowledge, skills, education, and experience, as well as internal equity. A reasonable estimate of the range for this position is $62,000 - $66,000 / year.

Employment Eligibility Requirements:

• An offer of employment is contingent on successfully passing a drug test and background check

Employment is contingent upon the employee’s authorization to access such items under applicable law.
