Job Description:
ServiceNow Solution Architect
Location: 4 days/week onsite in: Columbus, Dallas, Minneapolis, or Charlotte
Duration: 6 month contract-to-hire. The client is only interested in candidates who wish to convert and grow in this role.
Candidates must be able to work without sponsorship both now and in the future.
Role Overview
We are seeking a ServiceNow Solution Architect to join one or more project teams. This role involves supporting the design and modeling of architecture, related solutions, and component identification. The position is focused on the ServiceNow application space, including platform architecture and integrations, with a strong emphasis on architecture governance over deep technical expertise alone.
Key Responsibilities

• Create and present architecture documentation and diagrams through Architecture Review Board (ARB) processes.
• Advocate for and socialize solutions across various business and technical stakeholders.
• Serve as a Solution Architect, bridging the gap between application-level and enterprise-level architecture.
• Analyze enterprise business drivers to determine corresponding change requirements and assess the IT environment for critical deficiencies.
• Design and lead the implementation of an Enterprise Architecture (EA) based on business requirements and IT strategies.
• Direct governance activities associated with ensuring EA compliance.
• Facilitate the evaluation and selection of software product standards.
• Consult with development projects to align systems with the established architecture.
• Develop a roadmap for the evolution of the enterprise application portfolio.

Required Qualifications
Education: A bachelor's degree is required.
Experience: 5+ years of experience in multiple IT areas, including at least two IT disciplines in a client/server or service-oriented architecture (SOA) environment such as technical architecture, network management, application development, middleware, database management, or operations. Experience with architectural governance processes is essential.
Technical Skills: A broad understanding of ServiceNow products and architecture is required, including the Core Platform, CMDB, Integrations, Security, and the release process. Experience with reusable integrations is also important.
Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a solution architect.
• 3+ years of experience leading technology efforts.
• 3+ years supporting the ServiceNow platform.
• Solution Architecture experience across business, technology, data, application, and infrastructure domains.
• Demonstrated proficiency in performing Solution Architecture for large and complex solutions.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills for interacting with executives, managers, and subject matter experts.
• The ability to multi-task with strong time management and prioritization skills.
