    DMS/EMS/SCADA Analyst Assc
    Location: New Albany, Ohio (On-site)
    Employment Type: Contract
    Pay: $33-$35.15/hr
    Role Overview
    This position focuses on design and modeling for substation connectivity within an energy management environment. The role involves supporting the operational model database, handling real-time rating updates, and modeling for the transmission capital work portfolio. This is an onsite position, requiring five days a week in the office.
    Key Responsibilities
    • Model new substation projects into the operational model database to flow to downstream applications.
    • Perform real-time ratings updates in the operational model database.
    • Conduct ODMS/Mage Modeling for the transmission capital work portfolio.
    • Develop and maintain ADMS SCADA displays.
    • Perform Distribution Modeling as part of advanced application work.
    • Scope small to medium SCADA-related projects with limited supervision.
    • Provide technical support for Energy Management (EMS) or Supervisory Control & Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems.
    • Complete complex RTU configurations and alarm settings for various projects.
    Required Qualifications
    Education: An Associate's Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related technical field from an accredited college or university, or a high school diploma with two years of related military or electric utility technical experience.
    Experience: No prior experience is necessary with a qualifying degree. Experience with SCADA systems is required.
    Technical Skills: A strong ability to understand and interpret one-line diagrams and substation topology is essential. Background in modeling or circuit theory is important.
    Preferred Qualifications
    • Strong skills in communication, issue resolution, organization, and facilitation.
    • A solid understanding of business unit or operating company systems.
    • Familiarity with basic Protection and Control applications and their effect on overall SCADA.
    • An understanding of equipment within a substation environment.
